Can I sponsor my parents and grandparents?
Yes, through the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP). Due to high demand, IRCC operates an expression of interest system.
What if my relationship is common-law?
Common-law partners (cohabiting for 12+ consecutive months) are eligible for spousal sponsorship.
Can I sponsor my sibling or other relatives?
Generally, only spouses, common-law partners, and dependent children qualify. However, orphaned siblings, nephews/nieces under 18 may qualify under specific circumstances.
